Why not just use the free wa.me link?
You should — it works, and our generator makes one for free. The difference shows up the day your number changes. A wa.me link has your number baked in permanently; a chatnow.my link points wherever you tell it to. If you're never printing anything, free is genuinely fine.
Will my customers see my real number?
Not until they're in the chat. Your link is chatnow.my/yourname — the redirect happens behind the scenes.
I already printed 3,000 flyers with my old number. Does this help?
Not those, unfortunately — those point at your number directly. But it means the next 3,000 never have this problem again.
What happens if I don't renew?
We remind you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before. After it expires there's a 7-day grace period where the link still works. After that it stops redirecting and shows a holding page — we don't hand your name to someone else.
Can I change the pre-filled message myself?
Yes. Number, message, everything — from your own management page, any time, as often as you like.
Can every person on my team have their own link?
Yes — that's what the multi-link plans are for. chatnow.my/yourbrand/amir for sales, chatnow.my/yourbrand/mei for support, each pointing at that person's own WhatsApp. It reads as one organised company instead of a list of personal numbers — and when someone leaves, you point their link at the next phone, so every name card they ever handed out keeps working.
My phone number works fine — why do I need a link?
Your number stays. It's still the one people call, and printing it still tells customers you're a real business — we'd never tell you to hide it. The link does the two things a number can't: it opens the chat in one tap, with no saving and no typing, and it can be repeated by someone recommending you without them digging through their phone for your contact. Most of our customers show both, side by side.
How do I know which flyer or ad actually brought customers?
Give each channel its own link — one for the flyer, one for the Facebook ad, one for the shop sign — and each counts its own clicks. At the end of the month you can see which one people actually used. That's what the 3-link and 10-link plans are usually bought for: not more links, but knowing where the money went.
Can I change where a QR code points, after it's printed?
Yes — that's the whole point. The QR encodes chatnow.my/yourname, not your number. Change the destination and every printed QR follows.
Do my customers need to install anything?
No. They need WhatsApp, which they already have. One tap, chat opens.
Is the free generator really free? What's the catch?
No catch, no sign-up, no expiry. We don't store your number or your message — the link is built in your browser. We hope you come back when you need a name you own.
Do you store my customers' data?
No. We count clicks, that's all. We never see who clicked or what they said to you — those conversations are between you and them, inside WhatsApp.
Can I just buy one extra link instead of upgrading?
No — we don't sell links one at a time. It keeps the pricing honest and the plans easy to compare. If you've outgrown your plan, move up a tier and we'll credit the unused months of the one you're on.
What's the difference between Premier and Enterprise?
Premier is 10 links, bought online, live the same day. Enterprise is for when you need more than that — plus a proper invoice, a PO number, and someone whose name you know. It's a conversation, not a checkout.
Can I use this for something other than WhatsApp?
No. ChatNow links only ever redirect to a WhatsApp number. That restriction is deliberate — it's what keeps chatnow.my from being abused and blocked.
